Known for 3 major producing regions: Antigua, Coban, and Huehuetenango. A country where microclimate and the altitude at which the coffee is produced can be a great influence on the coffee produced. Strictly Hard Bean types (SHB) are the gems in this region – coffees grown above 1370 meters (about 4500 ft).

Complex and full-bodied, great Guatemalan coffees have depth. Notes of chocolate and spices can be found.
